is filled with animal paintings, not just cows who munch and moo. You’ll
see cats and fish, too. Seems there’s no limit to Valerie D’Ortona’s imagination
and original art creations.
Once in a while Valerie paints "human" faces or abstract acrylic (or watercolor)
paintings with nary a cow nor critter in sight, but Isabel forgives her.
Doodles have their own spirit. They just sort of Happen, with little to
no conscious thought by Valerie. Valerie’s hand moves the pen down
and round and up and back; usually a face emerges—maybe of a cow
or cat or pig; maybe a “human."
Valerie showed some of these doodled images to her art workshop teacher
Linda Pence who strongly suggested that Valerie paint the faces. Thus
the Dudes and Dudettes were “born” into original acrylic paintings.
"Meet Market" is a series of six Dude and Dudette acrylic paintings
professionally mounted and framed. They are great conversation pieces,
surely to spark the imagination!
Isabel believes that Valerie’s work is udder-ly
sensational and is mooved to have these unique paintings come out into the world.
